Sedum forsterianum purpureum [Petrosedum forsterianum purpureum]

This is a one of the more attractive forms of S. forsterianum with yellow flowers in flat clusters at the top of 10 inch tall stems. Glaucus purple-violet leaves that hold their color nicely. Plants will die back in the fall leaving numerous rosettes of foliage at the base. This species prefers some shade and moisture. Very hardy. North Africa.
