Sedum rupifragum [Sedum hakonense] (1)

This is an alpine species from mountains in Japan. Stems are upright to only about 3 inches tall. Forms a neat little mound. Leaves are flat with a groove going down the central 'vein' and form rosettes at the ends of the stems. Yellow flowers in early summer. Nice rock garden specimen. Fairly hardy.
